COCO

COCO is a children's charity, which is trying to make a BIG difference to lives of children affected by poverty, famine, war, illness and disease, through no fault of their own. COCO wants to give them a positive and happier future.

COCO endeavours to break down barriers to children's education and health worldwide as well as helping to reduce infant mortality in developing countries. The charity concentrates on educational projects that aim to improve the life chances of children who would otherwise have a grim future ahead of them. Over 1000 children and infants in 12 schools and care projects in Bosnia, Romania, Liberia, Malawi and South Africa have been helped by COCO since 1998.

This years RAG is hopefully going to raise enough cash sponsor a whole project so we can directly see where our hard work has gone!

The Childrens foundation

The Children’s Foundation raises essential funds for medical and lifestyle research to combat childhood diseases and conditions such as cerebral palsy and autism. It supports NHS service delivery and a number of innovative, community-based projects, designed to improve and protect the health and well-being of children and young people. Through our partnership programmes, we strive to address key child health issues for this region: smoking, exercise & obesity, disability, mental health and child safety, to help children in North East England but ultimately children everywhere.
