Boomerang is back in February and just got better!!
The ultimate team blagging charity event has increased to 60 hours!! Get as far away as possible from Newcastle and back within 60 hours using no money. If you're good at getting discounts of 'liberating' street signs then this is the event for you!! It's a bit of fundraising fun which gets you to test your skills, with friendly competition along the way. Previous entrants have gone international, how well will you do?
Each team of two (must include one male) will set off 8am Saturday 16th February and have to be back by 8pm Monday 18th February. A full safety and information briefing will be given before departure, details will follow, and all participants must attend this meeting in order to be eligible to enter Boomerang.
All registration forms have to be submitted by midday on Friday 8th February to Reception in the Union Society, with £10 registration fee each (refundable if requested and the minimum amount has been raised). For this you will receive a Boomerang T-Shirt and Hitch Pack with useful items for the journey, including disposable cameras. Guides and registration forms can be downloaded from the links below.
